Pittsburgh Pedestrian Wayfinding

ARUP, NY Summer 2018

The aim of the project was to design a kiosk with a map that would represent an updated wayfinding system in Pittsburgh, while also reflecting the city’s past, present, and future through materiality, colors, and symbols. My role was to design various graphic symbols that would be distinctive features of the kiosk and would reflect the Pittsburgh spirit. The symbol of three rivers that flow through Pittsburgh was chosen for the final proposal. I also designed parts of the map, city icons, and the App symbol for the VR iPhone experience.
