FIT, MA Exhibition & Experience Design, New York, NY Spring 2018

The aim of this project was to design a unique wayfinding system, a map, and symbols for tourists visiting the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. The map’s locations, its feel, and its kiosk structure were informed by the neighborhood’s history, culture, atmosphere, and particular attributes. Replete with a unique architecture of arches, DUMBO provides visitors with a captivating background for their picture-taking, as well as a specific way of photo-framing that gives an ordinary shot a different perspective.
