The Journey to the Unknown exhibition in the East Gallery of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian introducing HAIDA nation’s culture, customs, language, symbols, and mythology, with a strong emphasis on their identity as people closely connected to and dependent on nature. They will learn about and experience this unique, rich, and vibrant culture through canoes and related objects, activities, media, and interactives.
